Favorite Retro Tech

Below you’ll find a short list of some of my favorite retro tech and gadgets I have in my collection. They’re all still used regularly, if not on a daily basis. If I haven’t blogged about them yet, I will soon enough.

Commodore 128

It’s still my favorite computer and still use it today, and not just for gaming.

Franklin eBookMan

Been reading ebooks on my eBookMan since the early 2000s. The form factor is the perfect size and the screen is very easy on the eyes.

Gamepark Holdings GP2X

This is the perfect portable entertainment device. I use it to play some of my favorite C64, Intellivision and Sega Genesis games when I don’t feel like powering up the real thing. It’s also a very versatile media player, being able to play my collection of MP3s, OGGs, and AVIs encoded for it’s particular resolution.

Tandy PC-3 Pocket Computer

The first computer I ever bought with money I saved myself. I bought it in ‘85 after getting my first after school part-time job. This little computer was never far from my reach all through high-school and college and every office job I had after that.
