Hooked on Lulu

It all started with simply wanting to obtain the first C64 programming book I ever bought for myself, “Using the Commodore 64 in the Home”. Since I could not find a copy of this book on-line anywhere, at a reasonable price and in good shape, I turned to the publishing service of Lulu.com. After that, I was hooked, as they say.

Floppy disk’s 40 hour lifespan?

According to the experts, those flimsy floppy disks that I used to store all of my important information onto would be turned to dust by this time. But, here it is, well over three decades later and I’m still reading the same information I stored onto them all those years ago. Good thing I didn’t know that floppy disks had a 40 hour life expectancy.
